Covid19 Update

August 7, 2020

Dear Friends,

This is the time of year that we normally send out the Adam’s Animals flyer to kick off the new collection year, asking for your support with the donation of stuffed animals and money to buy stuffed animals. However, 2020 is not a normal year. We are not accepting stuffed animals at this time. The hospital has agreed to accept stuffed animals that were donated, tagged, bagged and stored prior to Covid 19.

We currently have 1,440 wonderful stuffed animals in storage at Disciples Christian Church, Plano. We will drop these off at the hospital door but will not be making personal deliveries as in the past.

Monetary donations, as usual, will go directly to the Adam’s Animals bank account until such time that we are able to safely purchase and deliver stuffed animals. Tax receipts will be mailed out as usual.

In this, the 21st year of Adam’s Animals we so appreciate your continued support. We look forward to resuming our normal collections and deliveries as soon as possible. As we all deal with a new normal in our lives there are still children and families who need a giggle and a smile.
